Come participate as local health advocacy organizations showcase their programs and educational material. Throughout the season visit the Harvesting Good Health table for health screenings, dietary benefits and recipe tips for fruits and vegetables at the market that week, and fun health facts for kids. As we age, we all need to increase fiber in our diets so come out and learn all you ever wanted to know about fiber.

Family Center Carol Russell, Americorps Program Director with the Exchange Club Family Center discuss programs and services offered by the Exchange Club. Focus areas include:  Family violence, Parenting education and Anger management. The mission is to break the cycle of child abuse/neglect by replacing abusive and violent behaviors with effective parenting skills.

With all the information on nutrition these days, do you really know who you can trust to give you the solid facts versus nutrition myths?  A Registered Dietician or An R.D. is required to have a college degree in food, nutrition, dietetics, public health or a related field such as biochemistry or medicine.
